Where To Start
I don’t know where to start …
Words that often represent a creeping (or avalanching) sense of overwhelm.
Perhaps it is looking around the crowded, noisy space that we find ourselves in, and wondering how to avoid the chaos.
Perhaps it is stepping into our digital worlds with too many open tabs and task reminders.
Perhaps it is sitting with the swirling thoughts and feelings rambling through our veins and brains.
Or, perhaps it is another of the multitude of ways that overwhelm finds its way into our days.
I need to take a moment to catch my breath.
Words that help me when I don’t know where to start.
And, when I take that moment, and have caught my breath, I realise that I have already started.
It’s the middle of the working week; where overwhelm loves to reside. Perhaps it is time to take a moment, too.
