Take A Time Out

Time out.

Acceptable in basketball and other sports. Less so in our workplaces.

And yet, that 75 seconds is often the difference maker, allowing individuals and teams to take a breath and reconnect with strategy, purpose, objectives and outcomes.

It is a reset moment that is often needed outside of things like our lunch or morning tea breaks.

It’s about feeling comfortable to call it at those times when we’re expected to push through stressful moments, to be constantly switched on and have all of the answers, or to run at top speed from the start of a day to the end.

What if we called ‘time out’ more often?

And, how might it be a difference maker in your day?
