Learning From Others

Here’s my tip …

We don’t have to look far to find a tip, hack or simple advice from others on how they navigate work and life.

Whether it be how to start the day, organise our time, declutter our inboxes, homes or [fill in the blank] there is someone, somewhere telling us how they’ve got it all worked out.

It is alluring to follow all the tips, techniques and hacks in the hope that it will solve our own challenge. Some help; others don’t.

Because someone’s “I’ve got it all worked out” belongs to them. We learn the hard way that there is no one-size-fits-all of life.

I still read and watch many of these tips, though. With a discerning eye I can often learn something new, and glean what might work for me and my unique needs.

I guess that’s a tip of how learning from others works for me. I wonder how it might work for you, too.
