Different Is An Option

Being different

is an option.

I know we humans seek belonging, and contrary to popular belief, we can achieve that while standing in our uniqueness.

There is no one rule book of work and life.

Not every business needs to make a special sales offer on a particular day of the year.

Not every business needs to celebrate the day of [fill in the blank].

Not every person needs the same [insert latest trend].

Not every person is measured against the same set of success criteria, values etc

Not every business and person is the same.

We have the permission and power we need to

celebrate our unique way of being,

go against the grain, and

challenge the status quo.

You never know, there may just be more people than you realise who are seeking the chance to find businesses and people who dare to be different.
