Seeing Simple

Nothing is ever simple.

A thought pattern we can find ourselves in when coming up against the complexities and absurdities of the systems and circumstances of work and life.

And then, hiding in plain sight are all the things that are (usually) simple.

A deep breath in.

Warming sunshine.

Quiet mornings.

Laughter.

Bare feet on soft grass.

Tea.

and so on and so forth.

At times even the complex and absurd can be delightfully simple.

As the saying goes, when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

I’m curious, what if that were simple, too?
