Rolling Waves
The waves roll in …
At the beach we can sit for hours and watch the waves roll in. They are rhythmic and peaceful, and stays with us long after we have left the seaside.
In the city we can sit for a short while and watch the waves of workers roll in. They are short lived and frenetic, and the quiet(ish) sidewalks return after the peak rush.
In our workplaces we can sit and watch the waves of [fill in the blank] initiatives to be rolled out. They are consistent and ongoing and we hope that they will benefit us all.
In our lives we can sit at any moment and watch the waves of change that signify we are alive. They can be welcomed or unexpected, stressful or life-giving and we know that change is the only constant.
The waves will continue to roll in. Sounds like a good time to sit, watch, swim and surf, don’t you agree?!
