Reflecting Forward

Reflecting forward is a great way to kick off the working week.

When I start my Monday morning asking what my end of week reflection will reveal, I get to hear Friday-me’s voice in advance.

More than setting a to-do or an intention, I envisage the week that was (is) in terms of progress and outcomes, considering the highs and lows, and experiencing the associated feelings.

This week I’m reflecting forward on how it feels to balance progress and patience, and relishing the satisfaction of taking charge of change. This Friday I envisage that, like most weeks, I’ll be looking back at some completed to-do’s, updating some to-be-done’s, and feeling good about it all.

I’m curious what you might see and feel when you reflect forward to the end of today, this week, or maybe even the year.
