Life Is Life-ing
Life is life-ing.
Words from a friend in a recent message sparked curiosity and many a question.
Of course this saying has become shorthand for challenges, struggles, overwhelm and more, and so my initial reaction came from care and I hoped that life wasn’t too difficult.
And then,
It got me wondering …
life is life-ing at some level for all of us, all of the time and navigating the various levels of life-ing from extreme to the average, everyday variety is something we all have to do.
It got me asking …
how might we remember to include the ease, joy and gratitude for life in our recollections of life life-ing?
It got me reflecting …
on how we can all carry empathy, understanding and kindness into every human interaction.
After all, life always has, and always will be life-ing.
