Let There Be Light

Let there be light.

As we move through the solstice - the winter one, here downunder - it has me looking forward to the return of longer days.

As with any form of change, it will be indiscernible at first, yet with each passing day, the light will grow and the days will change.

The solstice is a reminder that we can savour the moment we are in - as I am with my cosy and slow wintering mode - and have something to look forward to.

I look forward to my extra minutes of light tomorrow, and beyond.
