Just Begin …
Just begin …
In the poem, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds by Alex Dawson there is a line that reads:
they do not wonder if they can, they just begin
We humans, of course, complicate matters with our needs and wants, fears and expectations, uncertainty and doubts.
Today, as I stared at the blank page that marked a new creative project, I channeled the ruby-throated hummingbird. I didn’t wonder if I could. I just began.
I finished, too.
I’m curious, what might you begin if you were a hummingbird?
