I’m sure you know …
Genuine surprise ensued when the others in the meeting each admitted to not knowing.
We often assume that our knowledge is shared knowledge. Many times this results in us not sharing it, instead thinking that everyone knows that.
Of course, we know that everyone doesn’t know everything.
As the saying goes, every day is a school day. There is always an opportunity to learn something. There’s always new (to us) knowledge. There’s always a teachable moment.
Curiosity. Generosity. Learning. Growth. Change.
These are important attributes in work and life.
I’m sure you already know, and yet sharing is always a good idea, don’t you agree?!
