Attend To Your Dreams
What’s ‘tugging at your sleeve’?
In a recent podcast interview, author Maggie O’Farrell spoke about writing the book that is the one that's tugging at your sleeve most insistently.
Of course this isn’t only applicable to writing a book.
We all have ideas, hobbies, dreams, activities, and more that are the ones demanding we pay more attention to them. We may hold them at bay when other parts of work and life get in the way. Yet when they are important enough, they will remain insistent and persistent.
Much like a young child who tugs at your sleeve for long enough, we must stop what we are doing and focus on them.
Resistance is futile when something tugs at your sleeve long enough.
Which makes me wonder, what’s tugging at your sleeve, and more importantly, when are you going to give it some time and attention?
