Vision Of Change

A unified vision of change is a critical first step - in our workplaces, and in our kitchens.

I was reminded of this recently as three family members stood in front of kitchen displays trying to envision the change being embarked upon.

Of course, we each brought our own ideas, and ways of viewing the world to the exercise.

One nodded intently as the assistant outlined what was possible and discussed more detailed concepts.

“I just can’t picture it”, offered another.

We looked at the lines on the sketch. Two of us nodded in agreement.

“I still can’t see how that works.” their enthusiasm for the change waning.

We walked over to a display sample and examined the design in situ.

“Aaaah, I see it now. I love it.”

Landing on the same page with a clear vision of the kitchen makeover is critical if we are to bring this to reality.

Activities outside of our workplaces are a great practice ground for flexing our change muscles, don’t you agree?
