Unread Chapters

What is hiding in the unread chapters?

It’s a thought I had as I found myself absorbed in the surprising next chapter of my book.

Just as the story I’m reading takes some twists and turns, so to does our own story.

And, whilst we are more likely writing a ‘choose your own adventure’ book, we are also likely to experience a few surprises here and there.

It might stop us in our tracks at the time, yet they are bound to be the more enjoyable and memorable parts of the story.

Weekends are a good time for reading, and for considering what might be hiding in our unread chapters.
