Time Is Strange

Time is strange, isn’t it?!

My son opened the conversation with this statement and, although I was nodding in agreement, he was quick to add an explanation:

You can do a lot in five minutes, and then sometimes five minutes disappears in a blink.

Yes, these two things can be true.

When we accept both truths, it helps us accept the satisfaction of the five minutes that hold a lot, and to avoid the disappointment of the same five minutes that evaporated into thin air.

Because time - being the strange phenomenon it is - will always do what time is wont to do.

Thankfully it’s the weekend and I get to roll with it.
