Time Is Joy
Time is joy.
These words from poet Pablo Neruda run counter to our oft-felt frustration with time.
Our productivity obsessed world demands a scarcity mindset and we spend much of our limited time pointlessly trying to control it.
What if we sat with Neruda’s notion of time being joy?
What if we were to enjoy the time we are living through in this precise moment?
What if we were to set aside lament, frustration and struggle?
I’m curious, how might we move through our days when time is joy?
