Spinning Days

Isn’t it ironic …

A 90s song, yes … and the feeling we get when we spend much of our day spinning.

Trying to eradicate the spinning ‘wheel of death’ on the screen.

Watching the clock spinning as we troubleshoot (yet another) tech issue.

Feeling the hypocrisy of the tools supposed to improve our productivity, save us time and energy, and allow us to focus on things that matter.

Yes, it is ironic.

And more than a little frustrating.

We feel it at a personal level.

We experience it with our teams.

We navigate it as organisations and communities.

Perhaps it is time to reimagine what is possible and pursue a better way.

And, at the very least, enjoy an old song.
