Speaking Up

I’m speaking up for …

As this pronouncement came from the television in the waiting room, I wondered about the conviction and courage that sat behind the words.

Words spoken confidently and proudly into the camera belies the reality that speaking up for anyone, or anything, isn’t always easy.

And yet, speaking up is a valuable step on the pathway to change.

I’m starting the week wondering where I might speak up for change.
