Raise The Periscope
Raise the periscope …
If only it were that easy.
Of course, there are tools for looking beyond what is visible to us, to wrestle with uncertainty, and to consider what the future holds.
If only they provided guaranteed results.
Instead we are left to accept, and work with, our own human limits.
What if that wasn’t a downside?
What if we didn’t see this as something to avoid, or aim to remove?
What if our human limits are what provide meaning and purpose when we see what we once couldn’t, when comfort replaces uncertainty, and when we navigate our way to arrive at the future that is waiting for us?
What if we raise the periscope, and with whatever view we see in front of us, take that next step anyway?
Sounds like an adventure, don’t you agree?!
