Productive Afternoons
An observation
becomes realisation.
The text message read: productive afternoon - 5000+ emails deleted. 100s of unsubscribes. Time to rest.
As I sent the obligatory thumbs up acknowledgment to my friend, I thought,
yes, it is a productive effort to delete that many emails,
AND
how ridiculous has life become that this is something we choose to, need to, and are pleased with doing.
There are millions more examples of these to be found in all facets of work and life. When we consider them with a fresh set of eyes, we might wonder what if we were to remove these made-up, often ridiculous things that we spend our time on.
I wonder if that helps us to realise a different kind of productive afternoon. What say you?
