Pause Point

I reached the pause point.

There comes a moment in every day, week, task or activity where we must pause.

As I searched the miscellaneous notes on my desk, laptop and phone - knowing the one that I needed was somewhere - I realised it was time to press the pause button.

To find what I needed, I had to stop and find calm, order and realignment.

We each have our own point at which the busy-ness, and possibly chaos, is manageable. But when we hit that point, we know that further action - or pushing through - is not possible without a pause.

I found the note I was searching for, and more importantly, I found what I needed for a more ordered and useful afternoon.

I’m all for recognising our pause point and resetting our time and activity accordingly. I’m curious how you respond to your own pause point.
