Pathway To Insight

The pathway to insight is rarely linear.

I was not expected a card game to end in a deep discussion on an unrelated topic. We found ourselves sharing ideas and knowledge, and I made many new discoveries.

As I reflect on the times past where I had intentionally taken a solitary deep dive into researching this area, I realise that I would be unlikely to have come across the perspective others shared during our discussion. It was an insight that could only arrive via the unexpected pathway.

The more we put ourselves in the way of such opportunities, and remain curious and open to wandering into new territory, the more we allow for unexpected learnings.

Now that’s a pathway worth taking, don’t you agree?!
