Magic Exists

Magic exists.

Even in the everyday monotony. Even in the bin fires of life. Even when things seem anything but magical.

In her poem Magic, from the book Wild Hope, Donna Ashworth writes:
Beautiful moments are everywhere
waiting to be seen

It’s true, hope can be found - and sustained - in all the challenges of work and life, when we slow down, take a deep breath, and purposefully take notice of the beautiful moments that abound.

Some may say this is cliched.

I’d suggest it is an act of resistance.

When we push back on all of the external (and often internalised) pressures and noise, and reconnect with the magic around us, we can see how a better way is possible.

And, that is a beautiful, human moment if ever I saw one.
