Guilt Math

Stop doing the guilt math.

These words from Dr Jessica Kiss hit home.

It is tempting to use guilt math to force ourselves into being more productive.

We might calculate the impact of

taking time to do something well,

leaving to-do’s on our list, or

allowing ourselves some rest and relaxation,

and

decide that we’re being lazy,

we cannot afford the time, or

we will end up behind.

The math isn’t mathing.

Because taking time - for care, rest and just because - will always add up to more, don’t you agree?!
