Go Together

I couldn’t have done it without …

It is the recurring message from athletes competing at the Winter Olympic Games. Individuals and teams acknowledging that whatever we achieve is bigger than us alone. That the support, growth, development and success is the sum of all the parts, and especially the people, we surround ourselves with.

We may not be participating in a high level sporting event, but the lesson is there for us, too.

A reminder akin to the African proverb that says,

If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.

As we turn our minds to the week ahead, we might ask ourselves,

who can’t we do without, and

how might we go together?
