Four Minutes
4 minutes …
left on the timer.
It isn’t much time to wait.
Perhaps I can scroll, or play, or wile them away as I wait.
These are choices I have been known to make, and will undoubtedly make again.
Other choices are:
to read an article, document, or a few pages of my book,
to play with ideas, or possibilities,
to nut out a pressing problem,
to get lost in thoughts,
to reach out and connect with someone,
to jot down some words, or perhaps fully-formed sentences,
to observe the people and nature around me,
and more.
Four minutes is enough time to provide us with a choice.
I’m curious, what do you choose?
