We don’t need it,
but we can always use it.
A reminder to myself that you’re welcome to use, too.
We don’t need a new day, a new month, or any other type of first to begin. We know by now that we can begin at any time, from any point, and with (or without) any intentions and expectations.
But … it can help.
There is energy and impetus in the calendar flipping to a new page. We can envisage a fresh start when we have a new month ahead. It feels permissible to close one chapter and start anew.
As I look at the large font, bold styled numero uno on my calendar, I’m picking up an old project and starting again.
I’m curious, what is calling you to begin today?
