Around The Sun

No pressure.

No expectations.

No shoulds.

No [fill in the blank] of what we might place on our shoulders as we turn the page on the calendar.

Moving through a new day,

a new month,

a new year,

doesn’t come with rules and regulations.

And when we let go of the expectations,

we get to simply reflect, acknowledge and celebrate

one more trip around the sun.
