A Year’s Difference

What a difference a year makes.

Some results you cannot predict. 

Standing in our shoes from 12 months earlier, any attempt at predicting today might have felt tenuous, if not impossible.

And so it was that we stepped back from trying to determine a future filled with uncertainty. Instead we put one foot in front of the other and we took the days, weeks and months as they came upon us.

Cliches exist for good reason, as it is these cliched actions that particular circumstances demand. 

As we stand here, a year hence, we get to say: who would have thought it possible?!
